10 reasons why Ran is my world!!

1) He is the most attractive man I have ever met in my entire life!(just look at him)

2) He reads to me every night and has even been reading me Twilight!

3) He has an amazing way of knowing when I need to talk and always listens, even when sometimes he has no idea what I'm rambling about

4)He is going to someday be an amazing daddy to our little ones. I see the way that he interacts with his siblings and it just melts my heart!

5) He is an incredibly hard worker and never complains! (even when his wife has been out of work for 2 months)

6)He is always willing to help people. I have never heard him refuse anyone if they are in need...of anything

7)He has a hysterical sense of humor and can always make me laugh! He will say the funniest things with the straightest look on his face, but then on the other hand he can always make himself laugh too :)

8) He never complains about my cooking...even when it is sometimes really not good at all

9) He wakes up at the crack of dawn every day of his life just to have time for himself. I really have no idea what he does during this time but he is so content.

10) He is the most amazing best-friend, partner, and spouse a girl could ever ask for.

I am so luck to be able to spend the rest of my life and even beyond with this man and I only hope that he knows how much he means to me!

Champs!

Last night we were able to tag along with Ran's family on a trip to Prescott. This trip was to go and see his sister Stormee compete in the state championship with the Mt View HS cheer squad! Stormee was a bit nervous about the whole thing because Xavier was there and unfortunately had beaten them at the last competition. Mt View had luck on their side this time and ended up taking first in both POM and CHEER not only that but Mt View also won the All Around! I have never seen Stormee so happy...in fact she was brought to tears after all was said and done! We really don't get to see Stormee all that much because her squad has put so much work into making this Championship happen!! (and when she is not practicing she is sleeping ;)) They Definitely worked for this one! Congratulations Ladies! You ROCK!

These pictures kinda suck because Ran forgot our camera and I had to use his phone...Thanks Ran!!

Tradition...To be or not to be?

In the last few months Kindra (my sis) and I have been talking a lot about traditions...primarily about how are family doesn't seem to have very many of them. SO we are trying to make a change and let me tell you, building traditions is not an easy task. Now, I know that you can not just snap your fingers and BAM a tradition has formed but we don't really even know where to start. With "The Holidays" now in the past it is even more difficult as we don't even have anything to start with. Being the smart older sister that she is Kindra decided that we should try out home-made-pizza. Little kids would love it and that would leave room for more little grand kids to join in as our family grew as well!

The Challenge was accepted!

We did buy store bought dough this time but hey if this does actually stick maybe we will get fancier as we go...who knows!
(don't hold your breath though)

We made a few different types, some more popular than others, and to be perfectly honest, struggled with making sure that they were cooked all the way though!
I don't know if we will do it again but we did have fun this time!

(Macie and Ren sure did!)

SUPERCROSS!!

For Christmas this year I was able to get a really good deal on tickets to Supercross for one of Randy's presents. The show was last night and it was a blast!! Yes it was fun and I think Randy especially enjoyed himself. There were more people there than I ever would have expected! We got matching T-Shirts, ate disgusting concession food, and sat next to a million drunk people - We soaked up the entire experience :). Not really something that I would recommend taking your children to however. I even made the suggestion to Ran right after we got there (thinking about how much fun we were about to have) and said "I hope you bring our kids to stuff like this when we grow up". Knowing more than I did about Supercross he immediately said "I don't think so" and now, after last night, I agree with him. I don't think that I want to go back either... too many half dressed woman!! We though that it was SO funny a few times when the girls were dancing around so we secretly took a picture of one of them. Ran stood next to a motorcycle and I pretended to take the picture of "him and the bike" See for yourself...I thought it was a bit disgusting but funny none the less!! This particular girls' job was to stand on a platform and just wiggle around...Supercross is totally a guy sport! I really did have fun though! We left around 3:30 in the afternoon and the show didn't start until 7:00 so we walked around the pit and looked at different boobs..I mean booths. (woops) That was the part that I liked the best - time I got to spent with my honey! A real date!!

The only problem was that last night was also the Cardinals game. Ran has got "the fever" this year and watches every single game! As soon as we sat down and for the 3 hours before that he looked over at me and said yet again "I don't want to hear a thing about the Cardinals game until we get home and I watch it for myself". That was at about 6:30..half an hour later when the actual show started the announcer for Supercross gave a brief overview of what was happening in the Cardinals game so far and then it was put up on the big screen! Ran hid behind me for a few minutes but after the 3rd time they mentioned it and then realizing that the score was constantly being shown in the stadium..not only that but the man behind us was listening to it on the radio and talking to his buddy about every move and the man in front of us had the score pulled up on his phone..Ran gave in and unfortunately knew the outcome of the game before watching it. All-in-all I think it turned out though, because the Cardinals won!! I think it only made our night better! Hopefully Randy and I can make it a point this year to go and do things together that we really enjoy!!

Happy New Year!!

And so we start 2009!! How exciting! Randy and I just had our one year (as you know) but it really didn't hit me until last night when everyone else in the world celebrated another year starting as well. Last night was much more meaningful to me than I ever thought it could be. Other than being New Years Eve there was nothing all that special about the night, but after watching that ball drop it all hit ME as well..I am about to spend another year with my husband! How crazy!! I have a husband! I mean, I know that everyone grows up and things are always changing and I guess it has taken a year for me to really think about this but... "I have a husband!!"
This last year with a TON of new babies around me and people getting married left and right; I have really been able to open my eyes and see more of what is actually going on around me - I now realize that life is amazing!! Maybe I have just gone nuts since being married and the stress of being an "adult" is fogging my brain or something but I really have been able to view things in a different light. I am so happy to start a new year with this new view..and a husband! (weird!)
Like I said it all has just hit me. I'm sure most of you have felt the same "aw ha!" sort of moment but this one is really sticking with me. I know that life is constantly changing and even evolving but sometimes we just need to sit and think about everything that is going on...it may surprise you as well!!
